What is the address?

64 Foveaux St, Surry Hills, NSW.


Is there Happy Hour?

6pm – 8pm | 7 days a week | $6.50 tap beer, house spirits, house wine and sparkling.


What’s the dress code?

Casual, but come as you please (just no beachwear).

Is there a smoking area within the venue?

We have designated smoking areas but no alcohol can be consumed in these areas.


Are minors allowed?

Yes, until 9pm. All minors must be accompanied by their own parent or a legal guardian.


Do you have high chairs available?



Can I BYO?

BYO Is not permitted.


What is the style of music/entertainment?

We have DJs on Friday & Saturday nights in El Loco from 6pm-2am.


I have guests with allergies, will they be accommodated?

Our menu contains allergens and is prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, shellfish and gluten. Whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate guest dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that our food will be allergen free.


Where do I order on the day?

If you have paid for a dedicated host, you will have someone allocated to look after your group and take orders. For casual bookings with no paid host, you’re welcome to order from the various bar/food outlets.


Is there a TAB, Pokies or bottle shop?

A selection of wine, spirits and beer are available from our bottle shop, accessible via Bellevue St. Open until 11pm Monday – Saturday and 10pm on Sundays.
The gaming room is open during regular venue opening hours.


Do you have pool tables?



When is lockout?

There is no Lock out – hooray!

Group Bar Booking FAQ’s

Can I make a Group Booking?

Yes. You can make a Group Bar Booking for a casual reserved area within the bar. Seating is allocated as a mixture of sitting and standing, best suited for a casual drinks and nibbles style of event. We don’t rope off areas exclusively, or allocate a seat for every guest.


Are deposits required to Book? Is there a minimum spend?

No deposit is required to book and there is no minimum spend.


If I have a Group Booking, what do I do on arrival?

On arrival, please see one of our friendly bar staff who will accompany you to your reserved area.


If I have a Group Booking, what happens if I arrive early?

If your reserved area is free youre welcome to use the area earlier. Otherwise, our staff will find you a suitable alternative until the dedicated space becomes free at your booked time.


What if I am running late for my reservation?

It is important to let us know if you are running late, as your table may be booked for another reservation after your seating. Please call us to advise delay; otherwise we will hold the table for a period of 15 minutes.


If I have a Group Booking, will all of my guests have a seat?

No. Seating is allocated as a mixture of sitting and standing.


How do I cancel a Group Booking?

If you would like to change or cancel your reservation, please contact us on +61 2 9114 7339 or email groupbar.bookings@merivale.com.


Can we pre-order food or beverages?

Yes! We encourage bookings to pre-order food and beverage in advance. Please speak with your Bookings Coordinator to discuss options. Please note 3 days’ notice and full pre-payment is required.


Can I bring decorations?

All hanging decorations, balloons and streamers are not normally permitted, but speak with your Bookings Coordinator if you have any further questions.


Is there AV equipment for speeches?

We don’t have A/V available, but we think an old-fashioned cheers is just as good.


Can I bring a cake?

Yes, and no cakeage fee will apply.
