Cuisine style, Chef?

Jordan Toft is our executive chef and the food style is coastal European, with live seafood, grilled meats and fish, a raw bar (oysters etc.) Service is attentive, but not fine dining. Think casual elegance.

Max booking capacity is 120pax


How many floors are there and are they individually themed?

There is one floor, with different areas including the Champagne Bar, Brasserie, Round Room bar, and Salon.


Is there Private Dining?

There are no private dining rooms at Bert’s however we do have some great sections perfect for larger groups


Are children allowed?

Yes we welcome children provided they are accompanied by their parent, legal guardian or a responsible adult at all times. Children and minors are welcome to dine from the à la carte menu.


Do you have high chairs?



What is your largest table?

12 guests.


Do you have a beer garden or outdoor areas?

Bert’s does not have any outdoor areas, but The Newport has extensive outdoor dining and drinking areas available perfect for pre or post dining day or night.


Do you offer Takeaway?



Is there a TAB, Pokies or bottle shop?

Yes, The Newport has a bottle shop onsite, as well as a gaming room.


Do you have disabled access?



Allergies – are you able to cater to vegan, anaphylactic allergies, peanut, lactose, gluten free, nightshades, dairy?

We work in a kitchen that handles many allergens and cannot guarantee the absence of traces, but can work around many dietaries upon request.

Yes our menu caters for various dietary needs and our team will be happy to assist and take you through the options available to those guests seeking gluten free options


Will there be a late night menu?

Our kitchen closes at 9:30PM Sunday-Thursday and 10:00PM Friday-Saturday.
