Getting Here

The Newport has complimentary parking available for its guests. Limited street parking is also available in the surrounding areas.

By Car
From Sydney CBD or Eastern Suburbs - Head via Military Road or over the Roseville Bridge. The Newport is about 1 hour north of the CBD by car.

The kombi is no longer running.

Our Bus
Our big bus is now doing pick-ups and drop-offs, between Collaroy & Palm Beach on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, but you will need to book. Call 0428 580 984 on Fridays from 6.30pm, Saturdays from 4pm & Sundays from 2.30pm to request the bus. This mobile number will not be monitored outside these hours. Public Buses
From Sydney CBD - The BLINE is the most direct bus, it drops you to Mona Vale. From Mona Vale jump on the 199 or L90, which will drop you at The Newport.
From Manly – The 199 is the most direct bus, dropping you directly out the front of The Newport.

The Newport does not offer a private birthing services however there is a public wharf. If you wish to enquire about casual birthing moorings please contact Dave Rowell from Rowell Marina on 0414 479 700.

The story

Welcome to Bert’s. A light-filled bar and brasserie overlooking Pittwater and the grounds of The Newport.
Executive chef Jordan Toft’s coastal European menu has something for every occasion. Order a light meal from the bar menu, or dine in our restaurant. Start with something from the Oyster Bar – caviar, dressed crab or crudo. For mains select live lobster from the tank, or whole fish, beef, poultry or pork that’s either roasted in the charcoal oven or over the Basque grills. To accompany your meal, the larder table has a selection of vegetables, simply prepared.
We have an extensive wine list curated by group sommelier Franck Moreau MS, and a cocktail list with our take on the classics.
If you’re in the mood, the champagne bar is the perfect place to stop by before or after dining.
