A beautifully designed Hampton’s style restaurant and cocktail bar overlooking the sea, serving up some mouth watering European inspired dishes paired with a hand picked wine selection. We are on the lookout for a passionate senior Sommelier to bring a high standard of service and guest engagement, wine procurement, storage, and wine cellar rotation. You will be working alongside our award winning culinary team, pairing and suggesting wines which will best complement each particular food menu item.
You will support the leadership team in developing the wine program, managing suppliers, wine tastings and staff training while being given the amazing opportunity to be mentored by Merivale’s group master sommeliers Franck Moreau & Adrian Filiuta.
Most importantly, you will set the standard for a world class service and share your wine knowledge with esteemed guests to ensure their experience is unforgettable.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be an experienced Sommelier with the passion and drive to lead a team full of professionals.
