Ground floor has something for everyone with an array of incredible food, bar & cocktail offerings, as well as a massive games arena,cold pressed juices, boutique coffee, in house theatrette – and you can even get your hair cut by the in-venue barber!

These are really busy outlets and you will be working with a very tight team of Chefs. To give an idea all the pizza bases, sauces and products are prepped in house – made from scratch – done properly! From the making of the dough to the working of the dough it’s all done as it should be, by hand.


Executive Chef – Vincenzo Biondini

A very talented and has a great knowledge and love of Italian cuisine. His chefs love to work with him for his fun nature and passion for food.He uses produce like vine-ripened San Marzano tomatoes grown in the plains of Mount Vesuvius in Naples and prepares the ingredients using a variety of techniques – prawns are sautéed in chilli, paprika and white wine, eggplant chargrilled with thyme, capsicum cooked with garlic and bay leaves.


We have multiple positions available including Sous, Pizzaiolo and Dough Stretchers on both a casual and full time basis. This is a great opportunity to be trained by our industry leading Chefs and enhance your career.

To be a chef at Coogee Pavilion you will need to:

  • Be ready to work in a fast paced kitchen
  • Able to provide consistent quality
  • Experience using a wood firedpizza oven at 450c
  • Have a great attitude and excellent work ethic
  • Open to learning
  • Experience working in a high volume venue
  • Be flexible and reliable with availability to work a rotating roster
