ANZAC Day 2019

Whether you’re heading to the Dawn Service, whipping up some ANZAC biccies, or catching up with mates over a beer, ANZAC Day is a time to come together as a community and recognise the sacrifices made for our country.

Looking to spend ANZAC Day in Sydney? We’re hosting activities at a number of our venues. Take the opportunity to raise your glass in gratitude to those that serve, past and present. With live entertainment, two-up and ANZAC activities for kids, we’ve got something for everyone.

The Beresford

Open: 12pm - 1am

Two-up: from 2pm

Pop into the Beresford for a spot of two-up from 2pm, hosted by none other than drag queen, Maxi Shields. We’ve also got DJs spinning from 12pm for good vibes all day.


Coogee Pavilion

Open: 6.15am - late

Two-up: from 1pm

Join us at The Pav for some family fun. From 10 am to 12 we have face painting and a caricature artist for the kids then two-up running from 1pm – 5pm in the Whale Area.


The Newport

Open: 9am - late

Two-up: from 1pm

Meet your mates at The Newport for fresh ANZAC biccies and bacon & egg rolls. We’ll be running two-up from 1pm – 5pm, with free first drinks for servicemen.


The Vic on the Park

Open: 11am - 10pm

Two-up: from midday

The Vic’s carpark party is back! We’ve got The Dolla Bill Darlings hosting two-up from 12pm, outdoor bars and DJs from midday AND The Andy Golledge Band performing in the carpark.

The Tennyson

Open: 8am - late

Two-up: from 9am

Another great spot to spend the day, The Tennyson’s two-up kicks off early, running from 9am to 3.30pm. Grab your friends and come along for a game, a beer and a chat.


Establishment Bar

Open: 8am - late

Two-up: from 11am

In the city on ANZAC Day? Head in to Establishment Bar from 8am. Enjoy the vibe, great food and a game of Two-up with a drink in hand. We'll see you there.


ivy

Open: 5pm - late
We’re doing things a bit differently at the ivy, with an ANZAC Day Backpackers Party. DJs will be spinning until late. Looking for a spot to boogie? You’ve found it.

The Grand

Open: 5am - late
Sausage sizzle, anyone? Drop into The Grand – we’ve got an ANZAC Day sausage sizzle on the go from 1pm – 5pm. The perfect spot for a relaxed bite and a cold beer.

Bert's Bar & Brasserie

Open: 12pm - 3pm

Lunch only

A bar and brasserie reminiscent of the grand hotel dining rooms of the 1930s, with the relaxed air of Sydney’s northern beaches.



Hotel Centennial

Open: 12pm - 11.30pm


Sitting in a prime location opposite Centennial Parklands, Hotel Centennial is the perfect spot to settle in for a long lunch with friends.


Mr. Wong

Open: 12pm - 3pm | 5.30pm - 11pm


Mr. Wong does Cantonese-style food in a larger than life way. Barbecue ducks are a crowd favourite, as is our lunchtime dim sum menu.



Queen Chow Manly

Open: 12pm - 10pm


A Cantonese restaurant on Manly wharf that combines the best of Hong Kong with a touch of nostalgia – like king prawns or deep-fried ice cream.



Queen Chow Enmore

Open: 12pm - 10pm


Inspired by Hong Kong street food, Queen Chow Enmore has a fresh take on traditional Chinese. Where all the classics are covered, like barbecued duck and baked or fried dumplings.


The Fish Shop

Open: 12pm - 9.30pm


Our menu is varied, from our crumbed fish burger to scampi linguine, along with the classics, such as our potato scallop with chicken salt. Pair your seafood feast with a great drop from our sommelier’s selection.



The Collaroy

Open: 12pm - late


Welcome to The Collaroy, an all-day eatery serving freshly shucked oysters, wood-fired pizza and a beachside backdrop you’ll find hard to leave. Stay for an afternoon drink on the outdoor terrace and soak up the views.



The Paddington

Open: 12pm - late


Part-pub, part-restaurant, part-cocktail bar; each section of The Paddington has its own distinct style. With juicy, brown and sticky-skinned Bannockburn chickens that are hormone-free and air-chilled.



Totti's

Open: 11.30am - late


Headed up by Mike Eggert of the much-loved Dirty Italian Disco pop-up, and Khan Danis, one of the best wood-fire chefs in the country, Totti’s is all about enjoying simple, delicious food with your favourite people
